Development Ideas!

Hello Chobots,

As most Chobots know, the updates and upgrades in the Chobots world are a huge part of the revolving game, a majority of bright Chobots have been thinking and developing their own ideas further, which is fantastic for the designing/developing department to make more updates. One of the very own staff members named Jake has made an inventive blog for his very own suggestions for the game.

What to do if downtime occurs!

Hello Chobots,

Now, I know downtime on Chobots is occurring quite frequently and some times we may get a bit tired and bored, so I decided to have a bit of an adventure around my house and garden to find some activities that you may enjoy. (Note: The following pictures are of my own and not of google, if you do enjoy seeing my own pictures, comment!)

So the above are just some of the activities that you can enjoy whilst the downtime is under going, I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have any questions or concerns about what maintenance is or anything else you can do whilst it is under going. Comment and I will give a prompt answer.

New June Citizenship

Hello Chobots,

After a nice long month of May, and all the updates that have come by, we are now in June! This means a nice month of: Competitions, Updates, Rooms and Clothes!! As it is the new month. Chobots team have implied some new, fantastic Citizenship! Lets take a peek:

Chobots Maintenance: CHOBOTS IS UP!

Hello Chobots,

Chobots.net in-game and the forum are currently down, Chobots is experiencing technical server upgrades which should be completed today!

If you're bored or cannot find anything to do, here are some suggestions:

-Read a book

-Chat with friends on Skype

-Play some sports outside

-Make a blog post

Staff Job Applications!

Hello Chobots,


We have some good news, Chobots.net is currently looking for some new additions to the current team, if you have a particular intrest in a staff job and wanting to apply for one of them, you must have the following requirments [For that certain job]:

Moderator

You have to have a basic understanding of how the game works and the types of situations that you might encounter in-game. You must know slang terms so players have a more in-depth understanding of what your actions may be. You have to be online for atleast 3 - 5 hours to ensure full safety of the game. You also know how to work and ensure that you can follow them by the department leader.

Developer

To be a Developer you must know the basic programming languages, obviously more programming experience wil give you a better advancment in the job application. You must know on how to deal with a error or a database glitch and must be able to follow orders from the department leader.

Illustration

You must know the fundamentals of being a Designer, you have to design proffesional items and ideas. To design, you must have programs on the lines of Photoshop and Adbofe Flash CS.5. You must follow the requirments given by the department leader in a sensible form.


Support


You must be able to reply to an email in a formal manner, you must be able to make a decision based on any situation you may be in. You should reply to an email 12-24 hours of their message arriving. You must be able to follow rules from the leader of that department.

Journalism Project

Hi Chobots,

I apologise for the lacking of posts on Ashely's blog, but I'm back to fufill the posting count, this week, the Journalism project is re-opening so that you are able to send in your creative blogs! Remember, former Journalists must re send their application so that they can be re-entered in for May.

If you do not know what the badge looks like or placed, have a look at this:

Critic

As a journalist you recieve some pretty neat features, like:

-You get your own multi-coloured badge that sits in the left hand corner of your screen.

-You also get a cool green name on the official Chobots forum!!

-You can help out more with the community with some great knowledge.

Now, to recieve the badge you must make 'original' posts on your blog, meaning that you must make up your own content and possibly pictures aswell.

Now if you would like to enter for the Journalism contest you must send in an written application form into Support, make sure you make it as detailed as possible and describe what your strong points are!

The Chobots team might add more based on the amount and the creation skills.

If you have the slightest problem with the program itself or somthing else, you may email Support and wait for a simple answer.

And also, they have added this new STAFF role page for your applications, so if you feel you're ready for the job and want to give it a go, you can! Remember you will get an email verifying that you had passed the application form. So lots of new updates have happended so far, make sure you comment on the Main blog and this blog!

Results, Clothes, Updates!

Hello readers!

Today in the Chobots world, the Team have made some awesome new updates! We have the last week competition results, this weeks results and some wicked new clothes and updates.

Lets start of with the clothes updates...

Here we go: Future-ish shades, boy hair, moon hat, fur coat!

Most of these great clothes are for juniors to make you feel included also (At a low price aswell!) If you like these designs or have any cool ideas, you can post them on the Forum, Main blog and here.

Lets go on to the two Competition results!

Robo Factory

After a long time and battling the results have finally finished and we can take a look:

 

1st place: Precious870 7 days Citizenship, 4000 Bugs, 30 Cho Energy
2nd place: Hamoodcool 5 days Citizenship, 3000 Bugs, 25 Cho Energy
3rd place: Plinfalie 3 days Citizenship, 2000 Bugs, 20 Cho Energy

All of you Chobots seem to of had a cool time, comment if you think the 2nd and 3rd results are close!

1st place: Eliminate 7 days Citizenship, 4000 Bugs, 30 Cho Energy
2nd place: Brand 5 days Citizenship, 3000 Bugs, 25 Cho Energy
3rd place: Saifoo 3 days Citizenship, 2000 Bugs, 20 Cho Energy

These results are shocking, Eliminate won by almost 130! You Chobots have done such a great job playing games. There'll be more contests for next week! Now, you probably want to know all about the new update!
